Bosch Dishwasher Flow Meter
The flow meter in a Bosch dishwasher measures the voluma of water entering the machine. Typically a radial flow meter or reed switch sensor, it communicates with the control board to stop water intake once the correct amount is reached. A faulty part often causes the “check water supply” (E14) error.
- E14 Error Code: The machine stops mid-cycle and indicates a water supply issue.Â
- Water Fills Constantly: The dishwasher continues to take in water, failing to register the volume, which can result in poor wash performance or a float switch triggering a drain.Â
- No Motor Start: Water fills the base, but the main wash motor refuses to kick off because the control board doesn’t recognize that the correct amount of water is inside
