A 63A DIN rail earth leakage device (RCCB or RCD) is a safety mechanism designed for 35mm DIN rail mounting in distribution boards, offering protection against electrical shock and fire protection agains electrical shock and fire caused by insulation faults. It continuously monitors for ground fault currents, typically at a 30mA sensitivity for personal protection, tripping at 63A for high-load.
