An “Expansion valve R22/R407” is a thermostatic expansion valve(txv). These valves regulate the flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator coil. To ensure the refrigerant is fully vaporized without damaging the compressor

The external expansion valve can more accurately control the outlet super heat of the evaporator. Make full use of the heat exchange area of the evaporator, and is mainly used for evaporators with large pressure drop.

Refrigerant control: The primary function is to control the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator.

Superheat regulation. It maintains a consistent level of superheat at the evaporator’s outlet, ensuring the refrigerant fully boils off as a vapor.

Protects the compressor: By preventing liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, it protects the compressor from potential damage.

Dual compatibility: The valve is built to work with both R22 and R407C.

Construction: A typical TXV is made of brass and includes a power head, a sensing bulb, and a capillary tub
