DEFY twin tub belt 10mmx612mm
The Defy twin tub belt (10mm x 612mm), often referred to as an A-612 or A612 V-belt. Is used to transfer power from the motor to the washing pulsar or the spin tub in Defy twin tub washing machines. It is a critical drive component designed to ensure the drum rotates for washing and spins for drying.
Primary Uses & Compatibility:
- 13kg Models: Frequently used in Defy 13kg twin tub models, including DTT164 and DTT165.
- Function. It connects the motor to the gearbox/pulley. Allowing the machine to agitate during the wash cycle and spin during the drying cycle.
- Replacement Part. Used to fix issues where the drum spins inconsistently or not at all, typically due to the belt stretching or breaking
