R417A refrigerant is used for fluorine-free replacement . Of existing R22 refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment:
A new environmentally friendly refrigerant used to replace Freon R22 used in existing direct expansion directly fixed air conditioning systems (domestic and commercial air conditioning systems) It can also be used in medium-temperature commercial refrigeration systems.R417a is a replacement gas for R22.

Air Conditioning: Retrofitting R-22 in direct expansion (DX) systems.

Commercial Refrigeration: Medium-temperature applications, including supermarket display cabinets.

Domestic Refrigeration: Also used in some domestic cooling systems.

    i got this to replace R22 gas and it worked i kept on measuring the temperature while filling the gas to make sure
