1500V DC Thermal Imaging Clamp Meter MT784
The MT784 1500V DC Thermal Imaging Clamp Meter measures up to 1000A AC/DC with high accuracy. It incorporates an 80 × 80 pixel thermal imager that operates across a range from ‑20°C to 260°C. In addition, the large 6000‑count colour TFT LCD display provides fast sampling times and precise measurements. Designed specifically for the solar industry, the clamp meter measures 1500V DC, 1000V AC, K‑Type temperature, frequency, capacitance, AC+DC voltage, and resistance. The Low Z range function includes a low‑pass filter that eliminates errors caused by “ghost” voltages, ensuring reliable results.
Furthermore, the MT784 features a 100ms inrush current function that detects startup currents of electric motors, input surge currents, or switch‑on surges. This capability identifies the maximum instantaneous input current drawn when a device is first powered on. The clamp meter also includes a built‑in record and store function with trend capture. Using Bluetooth, the meter wirelessly transmits data to the Android or iOS mobile app. This allows users to view, save, organize, and share recordings effortlessly. Added functions include non‑contact voltage detection, peak hold, min/max and average, data hold, and a built‑in flashlight for dimly lit areas. To conserve energy, the MT784 automatically powers off when not in use.
