Differential oil pressure switch
The Danfoss MP55 differential pressure switch (part number 060B017191). Is an oil safety switch designed to to protect refrigeration and air conditioning compressors against low lubrication oil pressure.
Key Applications & Functions
- Compressor Protection: It monitors the pressure difference between the oil pump and the refrigerant suction pressure. If the oil pressure drops below a safe limit, the switch trips and safely shuts down the compressor to prevent mechanical failure.
