Errecom Acid-Test is a, fast, and accurate chemical detection kit for identifying acid in HVAC/R compressor lubricant, helping prevent compressor burnout. It uses color-changing, single-use, 2 mL or 4 mL oil-sample kits to indicate acidity levels: Purple/Blue (low), Green (medium), and Yellow (high). 

• Purpose: Detects, measures, and prevents acid buildup in systems.
• Indicators:
  • Purple/Blue: Low/no acidity; no action required.
  • Green: Medium acidity; corrective action suggested.
  • Yellow: High acidity; strong corrective action needed.
• Application: Suitable for POE, PAG, PAO, Mineral, and Alkylbenzene oils.
• Kit Includes: 4 single-use bottles and 4 applicators.

1. Sample: Take a small amount of oil from the compressor.
2. Test: Add 2 mL (or 4 mL) of oil to the testing bottle.
3. Shake: Shake the container vigorously for a few seconds.
4. Read: Check the color change to determine the acid level
